Grateful.

We had such an great Thanksgiving. Relaxing, delicious, good company. I am so lucky to have such an amazing family - we are surrounded by love and so are our kiddos. Can't be more thankful than that!

This girl is happy for some food!
My beautiful, fabulous cousins who gave the kids lots of attention!

Parker, in front of an amazing view of Anchorage in the background.

The cooking action in the kitchen.
And time to enjoy some dinner!
Or, if you're Parker, time to ignore the rest of the delicious food and eat a roll.

Happy Halloween!

Some assorted Halloween cuteness... We hit the mall first, to get some good trick-or-treating done without the freezing weather. Then we went up the hill to see my uncle & cousins, then back down to see some other friends. We stopped by my grandparents' house and my grandpa made my kids give him 3 candies just to get one. They all did it, and then they were all mad for the rest of the night. LOL

Here they are - a Ninjago, a black cat, and a pink kitty.

My little pink kitty.... She couldn't see out of her mask but wouldn't let anyone touch it to adjust it. Once when I asked her if she could see, she goes, "Uh.... not yet," as though it was magically going to fix itself somehow. We were really lucky to find the pink cat mask because she was INSISTENT that she was a PINK kitty and absolutely refused all the other lesser options I presented leading up to this amazing find.
Action shot - here's how we roll trick-or-treating in Alaska!

Running into friends at the mall
We met up with my cousins while we were there - Ninjago triplets. I can barely tell the boys apart in this pic.
My grandpa conducting his controversial Halloween trick, while Claire dives into her treat bag.
MUCH better than the frozen blizzard candy grab (aka "Trunk or Treat") from last year!
