Finishing up Soccer!

The kids had a great time this year playing soccer! Kenley's team party was tonight, and despite the rain, everyone seemed to have a great time! I realized I hadn't taken very many pics this season, so I decided to document our night. It was too rainy and cold during the game to take any pictures though. Our league plays rain or shine, and the games start as late as 8:30 even for the 4-year-olds - it can make for some interesting nights!

Isn't this the most beautiful walk into a soccer field in the whole world?

Here is Claire pulling the wagon ALLBYHERSELF! Just like everything these days...

Bundled up and enjoying the team party!

Here is Kenley with her trophy.

Parker enjoying some peace and quiet before two little twin girls from his preschool class found him and started playing "Kitties and Dogs."

And back to the car they go!

More fun at the cabin

We were back up at the cabin this weekend, this time with Grandpa Greg and Mee Mee!

Zip Line!

 Enjoying the raft ride

James and I went out fishing at about 10:30pm. This is how the lake and the sky looked.

Aren't the clouds reflected in the water just so amazing?
And I had my chance at fishing too!

First Lake Trip of the Summer!

We took the kids up to the lake last weekend and, as always, had a wonderful time. Sorry for the giant photo-bomb - there are always so many good pictures at the lake!

Parker and Claire enjoyed this old snorkeling mask they found. Kenley preferred to just look cute.

Sitting on the back of the couch up to the bar, where my siblings and I spent many an hour being similarly obnoxious.

Parker and Claire being inseparable buddies.

They had just stocked the lake and ALL the kids caught their first fish!!! James only had the camera for Kenley's though. Is that a proud face or what?

There are a million of these caps at the cabin, and they always remind me of my grandpa. Parker looks so cute in this one.

Seriously. They went in the water. Lake water in Alaska in May is not warm, folks.

Claire fell backwards off of her couch perch and couldn't get back up. Of course I had to take a picture before helping her.

Raft ride! First, Claire attempting to eat with her cheeks blocked by her life jacket (serious problems). Then, the kids steering the raft. Last, just a general "these days are why we live here" pic. :)

Zip line! Claire had to roll up her sleeves each time she went. She meant business.

On Tuesday morning, I took the kids out on the paddleboat while James did some more fishing with them in the rowboat. Note Claire's awesome cabin bed-head.

Finally time to go! The girls help clean the fingerprints and noseprints off the windows. Whew! Lots of work but so much fun!
