After our fun trip to Utah, we hopped on the very short flight to California. This was Kenley's face when they announced the plane was landing:
That night we went to a Padres game.
Parker took his turn at the kiddie baseball diamond. It was so cute!
The kids definitely had more fun playing with their cousin Max than watching the game, but it is pretty far away to hold their attention. We had better luck at the Real Salt Lake game.
On Monday we went up to Murrieta and hung out with friends.
Wednesday we got smoothies at our much-missed Jamba Juice, and then headed to the Del Mar Fair.
And that was our week while we waited for Baby Pond to make his appearance! Stay tuned!
With three little ones at home, chaos reigns! It's noisy and busy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Vacation, Week 1: Utah!
We recently returned from a 5-week vacation to Utah and California. The kids had soooo much fun hanging out, doing touristy stuff, and of course spending tons of time with friends and family! The prospect of blogging our adventures is a little overwhelming since I took just under 1,000 pictures on the trip (seriously), but I'm going to try. Here's week 1, our trip to Utah!
The kids loved playing in the backyard at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Sunshine!!!!!
Monday we went downtown to the Children's Museum.
Then we walked over to City Creek Mall and the kids played in the fountain.
And we went to Temple Square....
We got together with lots of old friends! Love having in-laws that live in Utah. We get to see so many people!
On Friday James took the kids hiking and fishing.
We also went to Blickenstaff's, an amazing toy and candy store in Orem. I got giant Smarties and I was super happy!
Blickenstaff's was so amazing. When we left, Kenley turned around to gaze at it one more time and said happily, "They should call that store 'A Child's Dream' instead." :)
