The Last Few Weeks....

We haven't been up to too much around here, so it's time for a little post of our everyday randomness...

We went to the library. Claire was thrilled to check out this book:
 Parker did some awesome dancing
We got a little bit of snow last Saturday. Luckily it melted quickly and hasn't dared to come back.

Kenley had her birthday party. Here's Claire helping me with a test run of the homemade lip gloss.
The girls at her party had a great time making the lip gloss, dressing up in costumes, and getting their nails painted by my cousin Kelsey, who was sweet enough to come help with the party.

She couldn't decide between s'mores and a birthday cake for her party, so James made her a s'mores cake.
Moving on to this past week, I convinced Parker to eat a chicken sandwich by telling him that James had bought "giant chicken nuggets" at Costco. He LOVED it! Ha ha! Anything to get some protein into that kid.
Parker is in Kindergarten but likes to make up his own homework. The other night instead of his Math homework, he was insistent on sounding out the days of the week. "Toosday" is my favorite. He is very headstrong and does NOT get the concept of teacher-assigned homework. He always informs me what he will be working on instead. Sorry for the stubborn picture - won't flip.
Kenley joined Girl Scouts. She is the cutest little Daisy ever! The troop meets right at our school, and one of her best friends from her class is doing it with her. She LOVES it! Parker is so sad that he doesn't have something, that he's informed all of us that we can't even say the words "Girl Scouts" and instead must call it "GSS."

Claire is still random as ever. She comes up with some amazing outfits, as seen here. She's also been walking around with this little purse clipped to her outfits for several days now.
And I hosted a Sewing Night where we made pajama pants for a women's shelter. My grandma gave me this pattern, but I began to suspect it might be a little old when I saw that it was for "Medium Girls and Chubbies." Hey, even poor chubbies need something to wear to bed!
And that's it from the Hamptons!

I think that is the pattern mom used to make Marci's pajamas. She is almost finished. Except for the sleeves and the hem! Love all the pics. Grandma Kerry
