On Day 2 of our Disney trip we went to California Adventure. First off, I waited in line for an HOUR just to get a Fast Pass for Radiator Springs Racers. So James and the kids had some fun without me.
We spent lots of time in the new Cars Land that had just opened. They did a great job on it, and Parker was in heaven!
Claire and I hung out and went on her favorite ride while the bigs went on the bumper cars. She loved the caterpillar one where you drive through all the food. Of course. She was madly gathering pretend food throughout the ride. I only stole some illicit bites a few times.
This day was a little more enjoyable because we went back to the hotel at this point and napped for several hours and then came back to the park around 5pm with everyone in much better spirits.
Claire with the famous $16 squirt bottle. Her expression says it all.
Waiting in line for Radiator Springs Racers. Since the regular line was about 3 hours long, that hour waiting for our FastPass didn't seem so bad! Disney did an amazing job recreating the bluffs and scenery from the movie, and the ride was awesome - officially one of my favorite Disney rides ever. And I'm not usually one to get that into Disney rides! Even though it's a madhouse right now, it's a must-do if you have a little Cars lover like this sweet boy.
While we waited for Kenley and James to go on the ride, these two little sweeties had fun together. Parker helped Claire zip her jacket, much to her delight.
And then they did some jumping and dancing.
The whole crew in front of the ride. Love Claire's random expression in this pic.
Good old Radiator Springs at night.
Watching the fireworks
Asleep clutching his souvenir Cars toy.
So, so tired.
